Brisbane Ballet was founded in 2019 by Emrys Goldsworthy, initially as a choreographic project with 4 dancers, and has since involved into a professional ballet company of 7 dancers.  As with so many performing arts companies, Brisbane Ballet was impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic shutdown with their second season in early 2020 being cancelled.  Brisbane Ballet was able to return to the stage in October 2020 and has presented Dichotomy in December 2020 and March 2021.
